Minister D. Scott Christian founded and pastored Way of Holiness Christian Ministries for 10 years, which has since transitioned into “Overflow Prophetic Ministries.” He was called into the ministry at the age of 22 years old.  Pastor Christian is an Atlanta area native, husband of Apostle Karen Christian and the father of two children, DeAnte and Destiny Christian.

 

With nearly two decades in the ministry, Pastor Christian has served in several capacities in the Body of Christ, and carried the gospel both locally and in several locations in the Midwest and Southeastern United States.

 

Called into the ministry in 1992, Pastor Christian completed 18 months of ministerial training under Bishop Miles E. Fowler of Big Miller Grove Baptist Church in Lithonia Georgia.  He also studied three years at Breath of Life Bible Institute, as well as Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Having a passion for preaching the gospel and “keeping it real”, he isn’t afraid to deliver the message of Jesus Christ in a straight forward and sometimes controversial manner.

 

Gifted primarily as a pastor/teacher, he also operates in the prophetic Believing that a good pastor should have the ability to see the hidden gifts of God in others; he encourages the saints to stir up the gift(s) within them.

 

Central to the ministry of Pastor Christian is revealing the holy nature of God and the depths of the Father’s love.  Teaching the importance of knowing God in His fullness is key in the ministry of Pastor Christian.  In John 4:10, Jesus said, “If thou knewest the gift of God and who it is that saith to thee, give me to drink, thou would have asked of Him and He would have given thee living water!”

 

Apostle Karen Christian accepted the Lord as her personal savior at the age of six years old, and have been active in the church ever since. She was supernaturally gifted with the ability to play the piano at the age of nine and was immediately placed over choirs and groups as the minister of music in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. In 1988, her family moved to Atlanta, and her music ministry continued to expand. In March, 1994, God called her into the ministry.  He commissioned her to go and make disciples of all men.

 

In August 1996, she was exposed to the dynamic ministry of Apostle Johnny & Beverly Tabor where she received her prophetic mantle as Prophet Karen. She has worked several years in ministry as an administrator, leader of intercession, and Director of Christian Education, until God released her in 2001, to unite with the Spirit of Love Christian Center where the founders are Apostle Ivy & Thomas Springer.  She then accepted the position of Minister of Music and the instructor of the Prophetic School. In 2002, she was ordained prophetically and in the year 2004 was ordained as a Pastor of the Spirit of Love Christian Center. She has accepted a new mandate from the Lord to be leader of Overflow Restoration Ministries Inc.  She has established a prophetic mentorship school and oversees various ministries.  She is under the tutor-ledge of Apostle Morgan, Cedartown Georgia.

 

God is now enlarging her territory as she prepares to go to the nations and proclaim Jesus Christ and the Gospel to all nations. God has entrusted her with a supportive husband Pastor Scott Christian and three beautiful children who assist her in building a Kingdom for God.
